  • Complete Federal and State means including all the schedules
  • signed 8453s to be mailed to IRS within 72 hours of acceptance of E-filed returns in special Prepaid Postage Envelopes
Printer Settings:
The following are Print Packet settings that the webmaster found useful, and are being shared in case it is useful to others.
  1. Signature Page - 2 copies 8453; 1 copy 8453 for State
  2. Filing Copy - 1 Copy each 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, 540 and all forms used
  3. Federal Copy - leave as is
  4. State Copy - leave as is
  5. Federal Filing Copy - Leave as is
  6. State Filing Copy - Leave as is

For Paper Filing Federal and State

  • Print 1 copy of each of packets 3,4,5,6
  • Give all packets to TP
  • Ask TP to keep 3 and 4
  • Ask TP to sign  5 & 6 and send to IRS & State

For E-File Federal and State

  • Print 1 copy of each of packets 1 and 2
  • Ask TP to sign all pages in packet1; VITA retains them with 1 copy of each W2 and 1099
  • Ask TP to keep packet 2
