The Productivity data by site, and county for San Jose Territory prepared by VITA sties, reflects the number of returns with CTC, EIC entries, and the number of paper returns, e-filed returns total returns. The number of e-filed returns should match you own records of accepted e-filed returns, whereas the paper return numbers may be delayed a little bit in case the taxpayer did not send it off right away. The data comes from official IRS records, and presents the information graphically rather than in the form of a table. New maps are here.

For the technically minded, the information is served from a GeoMedia WebMap, a Web server from Intergraph Corporation that serves maps and location based information. The web server runs on a 450 MHz Pentium III Windows 2003 Server connected to the internet via cable broadband. The Web server requires IIS on a Windows platform. The main vita-volunteers.org web site is hosted on an Apache Web Server on a shared Linux server located in a commercial data center.
